During this process, The Home Reset Organiser will discuss the proposed scope of work, scheduling, pricing, and any specific requirements relevant to the project.

1.3 Decluttering & Organising

The Home Reset Organiser will assist the Client in decluttering and organising their space through sorting, categorising, system creation, and the recommendation and/or implementation of suitable storage solutions designed to support everyday living.

1.4 Rubbish Removal

A reasonable amount of household rubbish generated during a session (up to one standard car load or approximately 120kg) may be removed for an additional fee.

The Client remains responsible for arranging third-party removal of excess waste, large items, hazardous materials, or items exceeding reasonable limits.

1.5 Donation Removal

The Client is responsible for clearly identifying any items intended for donation prior to removal. While The Home Reset Organiser will exercise reasonable care when handling donated items, no responsibility is accepted for damage, loss, or theft once items have been removed from the property.

Once items have been removed as part of the agreed services, the donation decision is considered final.

The Home Reset Organiser reserves the right to refuse removal of items considered unsafe, hazardous, excessively heavy, or unsuitable for donation.

1.6 Light Cleaning

Light cleaning and surface resets may be undertaken during sessions where appropriate.

Additional or specialised cleaning services are not included unless agreed upon separately in writing and may incur additional fees.

1.7 Storage Products

The Home Reset Organiser may recommend, source, purchase, and/or supply storage products to support the organisation process. The Client acknowledges that a product sourcing and administration fee may apply to cover the time involved in researching, purchasing, transporting, and coordinating products.

All storage product purchases must be paid for by the Client in accordance with invoice terms.

1.8 Selling Assistance

Where agreed, The Home Reset Organiser may assist the Client in identifying and listing suitable household items for sale.

While reasonable efforts will be made to support the sale process, The Home Reset Organiser does not guarantee the sale of any item or any specific financial outcome.

The Client remains responsible for handling buyer communication, payment collection, and transfer of ownership unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A service or listing fee may apply for time spent coordinating or negotiating sales.

1.9 Furniture Assembly

Small furniture assembly services may be provided where agreed upon as part of the session scope. Furniture will be assembled in accordance with manufacturer instructions and reasonable care will be taken during the process.

The Home Reset Organiser is not liable for:

  • manufacturing defects

  • incorrect parts supplied by the manufacturer

  • structural weaknesses in products

  • damage caused by pre-existing faults or instability

Additional assembly fees may apply.

2. Service Conditions

2.1 Service Outcomes

The Home Reset Organiser strives to create spaces that are functional, aesthetically considered, and easier to maintain long-term.

While every effort is made to achieve high-quality results, outcomes may vary depending on client participation, decision-making, available time, and ongoing maintenance of systems implemented.

2.2 Scheduling & Rescheduling

Clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling requests. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee or forfeiture of booking deposits.

2.3 Privacy & Confidentiality

Clients may withdraw consent for image usage at any time by submitting a written request.

3. Liability

While reasonable care is taken when handling belongings, The Home Reset Organiser is not responsible for accidental damage, breakages, or incidents that may occur during the organising process unless caused by proven negligence.

Clients acknowledge that organising, decluttering, lifting, moving, and rearranging household items carries an inherent level of risk.

The Home Reset Organiser maintains current Public Liability Insurance.

4. Payments

A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure session dates and scheduling.

Deposit amounts will be communicated prior to booking confirmation.

Payments may be made via bank transfer, cash, or other approved payment methods.

Any transaction or processing fees associated with payment methods remain the responsibility of the Client.

4.3 Payment Terms & Invoices

Payment for services rendered is due on the day of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where storage products or additional purchases are supplied, an itemised invoice will be issued and payable immediately upon receipt or within one business day.

Failure to pay invoices within five business days may result in debt recovery action and associated administration costs.

4.4 Late Payments

Late payments may incur a late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance.

The Home Reset Organiser reserves the right to suspend future services until overdue balances are paid in full.

Any debt recovery, legal, or collection costs incurred in recovering unpaid invoices will be payable by the Client.

4.5 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes relating to services, invoices, or payments will first be addressed through good faith discussions between both parties.

Where resolution cannot be reached, the parties may seek mediation in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
